I am an Assistant Professor at the Center for Social Research, Guanghua School of Management, Peking University, and an Academic Counselor of the Yenching Academy of Peking University. Prior to joining Peking University, I was a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Princeton University. I received my Ph.D. in Political Science and M.S. in Statistics from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
I work at the intersection of comparative politics and political economy. Adopting a behavioral approach to institutional studies, my recent research examines state–business relations, corruption, and public opinion in developing countries, with a particular emphasis on China. My research has been published in PNAS, Political Science Research and Methods, Governance, The China Quarterly, Journal of Theoretical Politics, and International Studies Review. |
